Lo & Sons is a family-owned travel and lifestyle brand founded in 2010 that creates lightweight, functional, and sustainable bags for people on the move. A retired mom with a PhD who traveled frequently. She suffered from back issues and grew tired of heavy, awkward travel bags, so she decided to design her own. Jan Lo: Helen’s son who worked in product design research. He encouraged Helen to make her own bag and helped with early consumer research and manufacturing. Derek Lo: Helen’s son with a background in advertising. He joined to build the website, shape the brand identity, and handle marketing.
